Carbone Fine Food approached me to photograph their latest sauce for use in promotional web and print content. They were looking to showcase the sauce and jar design along with some of the key ingredients. They provided a recipe for a dish that they felt would showcase the sauce well, and the shapes they preferred the ingredients to be shown. I cooked and styled the dish and ingredients, lit and composed the scene, and photographed and edited the resulting images. My goal was to represent their product with a warm and comfortable palette that complemented the rich reds of the sauce.
